@carrotlaneofficial: This is not to say you can’t have some price exposure to what you think is the next big thing. Just don’t become pot committed or make it a core allocation. We’ve already been through a brutal bear market with these assets. Why take on more risk than you need to? Stronger, more established assets develop a Lindy effect. The longer they survive, the more confidence we can have in their ability to survive into the future. That doesn’t guarantee success, but it improves the odds.
