Next. 😏 Start equally calling out Quebec, who actually elected a separatist government (with racist, anti-immigration tendencies, I might add), and I'm all ears. Yes, US interference is a huge issue that needs to be dealt with. But you know what else is a huge issue? A nation that has two separatist movements in two geographically distinct regions, and we can't bring ourselves to look in the mirror and own our own shit. This is not Canada strong and united. This has been an issue for decades over successive governments from both sides of the aisle and we have turned a blind eye. My fear is that now we have a scapegoat and we won't address the main issue: us.
