I have a hell of a lot of faith in Mike Flanagan - he hasn't really missed yet. Further, Carrie has been remade countless times, and his Carrie series somehow feels fresh and new, and it's really good.

On top of that, literally one day ago you said this “looks amazing” “we still don’t know much about the plot” “Flanagan is the master…” but now you’re seemingly saying you know enough about the plot to be worried

look, do I think we need another Exorcist movie?? abso-fucking-lutely not. with that being said, it's Mike Flanagan and he had quite literally never missed. I just finished his adaptation of Carrie (another property that we don't need another adaptation for) and I was blown away by how amazing it was. I have no hesitation putting all my faith in Flanagan

Even if plot points seem similar, Flanagan execution is what will matter.

This storyline has been done before…. Not just in the exorcist 3. This film will do well cause it’s Flanagan. The man hasn’t done a bad project
