In the UK all student associations must be open for all students to join. This gets rid of all the horrific self proclaimed elitism and entitlement that comes with the fray/sorority scene.

Some print ads don’t feel outdated even decades later. Long after their release, certain campaigns still stand out because the idea behind them was strong enough to outlive trends, platforms, and changing technology. A single image, a few carefully chosen words, and the right composition can leave a stronger impression than an entire video campaign. That’s what makes great print advertising so interesting. Unlike digital content designed for constant scrolling, print ads have very little space to work with. Every detail matters—the framing, typography, colours, negative space, and especially the concept itself. The best campaigns communicate an entire message almost instantly, often through visual metaphors or clever simplicity. A strong piece of art direction can make an ad feel timeless rather than tied to a specific era. Even years later, the humour, visual impact, or emotional idea still lands because it relies on human attention and perception more than trends. And the copy plays a huge role too. The most memorable ads are often surprisingly concise. A short line paired with the right image can completely change how you interpret what you’re seeing, turning something simple into something unexpectedly smart or powerful. That’s why some brand campaigns continue circulating long after billboards come down and magazines disappear. They stop feeling like advertisements and start feeling more like visual ideas people remember. In a world flooded with content, that kind of lasting impact is surprisingly rare. #design #designtok #posters #graphicdesign #poster
