This statement should be subjective and contextual, not just a general statement for everybody.

What if they’ve helped you get out of the same cycle 5x, pero paulit-ulit ka pa rin, and every decision you made only made things worse? Eventually, napagod sila and stopped helping. Hindi ka naman nila pinahirapan, they just stopped. Would you still think them not helping you is making it harder, or is it time to take accountability?

And we need to remember, when we start doing better, we realize why certain people aren't around anymore. Sometimes, God pulls people out of your life because staying connected to them would have eventually drowned us.

totoo ‘to. Kaya I grew up na ako lang mag-isa kahit may mga tao naman sa paligid ko. They were only nice, kapag may need sa’yo. But, when you are in your drowning phase, wala na. Lunod na lunod kana, tapos kinakawawa ka pa. Pero despitie all of these, maniwala kayo or hindi, may nagiisang taong naniniwala sa’yo. Maaaring hindi ibang tao, pero baka ang sarili mo.

what's worse is they don't even "teach you how to swim" eh they pull you down to drown and mock you for struggling pa. those are the kinds that I promise never to forget. walang grudge pero NEVER will they ever get a chance to take anything good from me.

no one from my proximity will read this anyway. i was rlly not in the right state of mind, i made bad decisions that have hurt other ppl, esp my friends. i left the gc, and shut everyone off. it was wrong. it took me a long way to get back to my senses, tipong kailangan ko pa sila makita sa personal para masampal ako ng naging epekto nung desisyon ko when i wasn't ok. i reached out to them, i said sorry, i held myself accountable. hindi ko ginustong makadagdag sa kung ano man. hindi ko rin ineexpect na ma-forgive agad. kasi alam kong nakasakit ako. it took one of them days to reply, it's ok. i was so guilty na everything they told me made me agree, tipong pakiramdam ko kahit anong nararamdaman ko at that time was wrong. pero gusto ko lang talaga malaman, kailangan ko ba malaman na their days were already hard as it is and made me feel na parang dumagdag pa ako? naiintindihan ko. pero i was also having a hard time too. but still, i acknowledged that i made it hard for them. pero between those days that i didn't reach out at all, they got mad at me, they didn't even ask if i was ok. hindi nila responsibility to carry my burdens, pero hindi ko man aminin, i needed a friend. but they lectured me, told me their projection from their past traumas. worse, saka lang nila sinabi saakin mga bagay na pinili nila huwag sabihin saakin nung okay pa lahat, nagkaroon sila lakas loob na sabihin sakin, nung nagkamali na ako. they're denying that that's how it made me feel. i reached out, i told them that i understand what i made them feel. but i hope they understand what i am feeling too. i did not reach out to make an excuse for what i did. but they chose to tell me NOW everything they chose not to tell me. tipong parang hinintay lang na magkamali ako. yet i was called irrational and self-righteous. :,)

Yes! Experienced that with former friends. The greatest betrayal for me. Tapos in the end, the people na hindi ko pa kavibes cried for me when I told them my story. They even wrote personalized letters apologizing about how they painted me in their head kasi I'm very strong headed and often times it can be perceived badly. But I can confidently say that those di kavibes became my close friends as I grew up. I'd like to think it was a redirection and I'm grateful for it.

That’s why I hated my inlaws. Nung kaming mag asawa ang binebless, shinare namin yung blessings namin. Hindi kami nanunumbat pero need namin ng comfort that time pero ginawa nila pinagsalitaan kami ng masasakit. We don’t asking for help but we asking for support.

There are also people who are defensive. They instantly feel disrespected when in reality is they were just told the truth which they themselves deny and can't accept.

That’s why, for me, forgiving someone is somewhat hard and almost impossible, because in forgiving, you also have to let go of the thing that fuels you to be who you are. That's hard to do because it's not that you can’t forgive people—it's just that you can’t let go of the thing that fueled you for years and helped build the person who you are right now. And I don’t think forgiving someone is essential, nor does choosing not to forgive make you less of a person. I know people often say, 'Diyos nga nakakapagpatawad, bakit ikaw hindi?' But it’s not that you can’t—you can, but you aren't obligated to. Time heals, and healing doesn’t always mean forgetting and forgiving what was done. They had a choice when they hurt you, and that didn't stop them; now, you have that same grace of choice—to neither forgive nor forget. 🤏🏻
