How I treat being a mom like a job - 6 steps! Being a mom is more of a calling than a job; it’s more of an art than a science. But it doesn’t mean that your calling, or your art, shouldn’t be treated as a job, especially if you take it seriously.   👉🏻First, go to my Instagram and comment the word “JOB” on this post and I will send you a 24-page PDF guide that outlines why and how I do this (free!) for a limited time.   Think of an artist. Their mission is to create beautiful art. But, to make a living, they need to sell their art. They probably need a marketing strategy, website, business banking account, accounting, and so on. Suddenly, their “art” starts to run itself like a business. Because it is.   It’s the same (in my opinion) as being a mom. You become a mom and your kids are not a job; they are your art; your beautiful creation. But the things that surround motherhood are, in fact, a job. And like a job, these elements require organization, boundaries, outsourcing, and more to thrive.   As someone who struggled in the early years of motherhood and as someone with a master’s in business, about five years and three babies in as a mom, I realized I needed more structure in motherhood.    I wanted to do this mom thing strategically - in a way that would honor my craft, so I could be ALL IN without burning out.   Once I identified the surrounding roles of motherhood as a “job”, I could then start fine-tuning my organizational approach to motherhood. I created rhythms, structure, flow, benchmarks, frameworks. Improvement started happening and as a high-achieving female in a stay-at-home mom role, I thrived.   Yes, I understand many people are not wired the way I am!! But so many ARE wired like I am. This message is for you. You need structure, goals, and a healthy challenge. There’s nothing wrong with you! The minute you embrace who you are; the minute your joy in motherhood will exponentially take off.   You’re capable and you’ve got this! 🙌🏻♥️
