@rabinn.fx: The Troy mistake every editor makes — redoing finished work A composer spent a whole year scoring Troy. After one bad test screening, the studio threw it all out and made someone redo the entire thing in four weeks. Every editor and freelancer knows that feeling — you finish the work, polish every detail, and then the client wants to change all of it. The problem isn't your work. It's that you perfected it before anyone agreed on the direction. Get the yes while it's still rough. Lock the direction first, then make it perfect. #videoediting #freelanceeditor #clientwork #editingtips #videoeditor

After 18 years of editing, I’ve learned this: when cutting a film that isn’t music-video driven, cut to the ambient sound and the energy of the scene. Let the dialogue and the energy pass naturally from one actor to the next. That’s your guide. The score can come later.

الان مع الذكاء الاصطناعي اصبح تغيير الموسيقى بعد الانتهاء من التعديل امر سهل لست مضطر للبدأ من جديد فقط اكتب له برومبت و حافظ على نفس الايقاع

Read in the blink of an eye by Walter Murch, it’s a very strong guide if you don’t want to study editing or/and are just a “filmmaker”
