My hot take is that the avatar cycle was always gonna restart with Korra because of harmonic convergence. Like it makes perfect sense that every 10,000 years the cycle starts all over again because of the fated fight with Vaatu. ALSO VAATU IS THE ONE THAT SEVERED IT why do they act like Korra made an active decision to cut off her past lives-

Aang literally shows up once on some Mufasa in the clouds shit, gave some basic advice then fucked off. Korra never got the level of help Aang did. He was constantly gettin help from his past lives, friends from before he froze himself, and a S tier team of prodigies and crash outs (Zuko). Korra literally CARRIED her whole show on her BACK and just gets constant hate for it.

I’d say Korra was a hard watch for me, as a chronically ill woman. She started off the show with so much energy, drive, personhood, and then she was beaten down over and over again until she became disabled and mentally just.. barely there. It was so hard to watch. Any other people feel similarly?
