From the story here’s my take. He’s not dating the friend because he likes her but probably to spite and get back at you. She is ‘opening up’ to you as a chore not because she cares about you (just so she wouldn’t feel guilty…‘Shebi I have told you’ excuse. He most likely would’ve told bad things about you to your friend and her family and portrayed himself as a saint. Narcissists/ abusers have a way of making you look bad to others just so they can still have control and to make you feel bad about yourself. LEAVE THE FRIEND AND THE FAMILY ASAP…for your mental health!!!
