@chickenstripes444: This meeting would become part of the Treaty of Easton — one of the most important Native-British diplomatic negotiations of 1758. The negotiations continued for weeks. Native leaders discussed peace, warfare, prisoners, alliances, and disputed lands. The eventual Treaty of Easton helped establish peace between several Native nations and the British and included British commitments concerning settlement west of the Allegheny Mountains. The original minutes of the Easton conferences are preserved in historical collections and record the proceedings day by day.
