i'm sorry but the only trailer I saw was just going on about Tom Cruise' legacy, nothing about the actual film. Tom Cruise is not a selling point to many people, better marketing could have prevented this.

I saw one actual trailer for this in the theater and it was basically just two minutes of "Tom Cruise has been in movies! And now he's in this one! Come see Tom Cruise in this movie!!!". This bomb is ENTIRELY on the marketing team 💀

Tom cruise is in it so I was not watching just for that, but in the promos I’ve seen I still have no idea what the movie is about. It just looks strange.

I haven't seen any marketing for this movie, some commercial posters on bus stops is all just before it came out. Not sure what to expect of it but that wasn't enough to make me want to know more about it and even then it's not the "creative bold original idea" I want, it still needs to be interesting

I’m sick of being told I have a moral responsibility to see films or prop up the movie industry. I didn’t have a problem seeing movies when there movies I wanted to see. It’s not my job to see movies. It’s their job to make ones we want to see. Hollywood has become convinced we exist to serve their desire to make movies. That’s not how it works.

All we heard was “tom cruise.” I could not possibly give you a general plot for this movie. Something about an oil executive? There’s a cat? I think John Goodman is the president? Maybe I’m an idiot and the only one who feels confused, but a movie with that cast flopping like this makes me think I’m not alone.
