@tracie.phy: Dozens of dogs are now getting the care they need ❤️‍🩹 Authorities in Murrieta, California, recovered 33 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels during an animal cruelty investigation after officers discovered 21 of the dogs confined inside a box truck. Several of the female dogs were found to be pregnant, and additional dogs were later recovered as the investigation unfolded. The dogs were transported to a local animal shelter, where they received veterinary evaluations and ongoing care. Prosecutors have since filed multiple animal cruelty charges, and the dogs remain in the organization's care as they continue their recovery.
