Nj transit driver here ! I find it hard to believe he fall asleep when he was just starting. Most likely a medical emergency. A few months ago one of our drivers had a heart attack and died behind the wheel, so medical emergencies do happen. Also no one was hurt so there’s not going to be any large lawsuit. Transit will just pay for the damages to the property

I think these companies should have their drivers get a physical check up 2x a year, heart problems diabetes issues eye exams and other medical problems they might be experiencing that they are not aware of. You have people’s lives in your hands being behind a wheel.
