I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to step in cos I noticed ppl were leaving the “black girl out” bc they seem to assumed she was “the loud one, the mean girl, the girl here to cause trouble, the one not good enough, the one who’s gonna be messy”. And when I step in and she’s the sweetest damn person alive and take her under my wing,. That’s when it turns out they wanna put their guard down but at that point, I took note of all those who wanted to draw a line. Like no’ and now look! She’s a better employee than all yall!
