I overdosed on less that half a 10th of a gram. I was lucky somebody found me when they did. the paramedics brought me back to life. in my head I didn't know what was happening but I felt like I was dreaming that I was sitting at a restaurant patio outside with my childhood best friend who died from a heroin overdose 2 years prior. in the "dream" I was so happy to see him but he was mad at me and I couldn't figure out why he was so mad at me. then I woke up on the stretcher confused and in so much pain. I didn't piece together what happened until a couple days later. was definitely one of the most insane experiences I've ever had and I'm lucky to be alive. I think my friend was mad at me for not learning from his mistake..

My bf overdosed from heroin cut with fentanyl. He was a baby, only 24. Everyone in the neighborhood knew where he got it, but the police wouldn’t arrest him. It makes my blood boil and my heart break to this day.

My friend passed from a fent overdose. She was clean for over a year. Nobody knew she got it or where she got it from. She went to bed with her bf. Suddenly she woke up with a bloody nose and just died right there. I still haven’t heard of a fent OD where that’s happened, it’s like her soul knew and tried to come out but couldn’t. I miss her so much every day

I almost died from it because it was mixed in my weed but my boyfriend and his dad found me sleeping but I was snoring like I was fighting to breathe I’m thankful for that they found me

As someone whose been an opiate addict since I was 17 (now 33 with almost 2 years clean) while you had the parts about it being a respiratory depressant right but the part that you got wrong is it wouldn't take minutes. The most likely scenario of someone whose been clean for that long relapsing is they take a hit and the lights go out. They don't wake up again unless someone intervenes with narcan. I've overdosed more times than I can tell you and its over before you realize anything is happening. You only find out you've OD'd when you wake up. Also, it's not 2mg, it's 2 micrograms. Equivalent to two grains of salt. The fentanyl that is flooding the streets of the USA is not made in a laboratory it's made by the cartels in Mexico. I've lost so many friends to fentanyl, more than 10.. and I just lost my cousin who was more like my brother, his funeral is on Friday. He was 33, 7 days older than me, he had some clean time and relapsed, his girl said he never came to bed and she found him the next morning dead. He had 3 kids. One of them only a few months old. Another friend of mine had a year or more clean time and was working in a rehab facility when he relapsed. He was found dead. Another friend of mine had some clean time and she relapsed, her mom just pulled the plug on her yesterday because she was brain dead. FENTANYL DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE. It does not care who you are, it will end your life before you know it.
