the reason she said that was probably because trans ppl have hormonal cycles js like cis ppl. She's obviously not menstruating, but she's likely just refencing that specific stage of her hormonal cycle.

I mean… technically if you’ve been on estrogen long enough you might get cramp like symptoms but no actual bleeding. I’m a trans man and I get phantom periods every once in a while from the medication I take to stop my period
