Selemat Pagi ✝️ :

Please then answer the question: why does Jesus contradict himself according to your logic? Jesus says no divorce, Paul says divorce is okay under certain circumstances.

MkRiddle :

Paul's like trust me Jesus told me to say this stuff that doesn't align with what he said 😂😂😂😂😂

BeerMe :

have you ever actually read and translated the source text?

the.sage :

Thank you for the Balanced example you gave, I was thinking you're trying to dodge the fact that the red letters meant , the words JESUS said as an incarnate of GOD

5.ironfossil :

what translation is the best? is it the NASB?

Sam Friesen :

what's the best Bible to get as a beginner

Stacy :

Well said brother…We can’t Pick & Choose! The authors of Scriptures were Inspired by the Ruach Hakodesh (The Holy Spirit)! The Do’s we Obey, the Don’t(s) we Eschew!💥💯😳

✝️It’ztophatlover✝️ :

God bless you

Jesse>Cancer :

I was thinking about it yesterday. People act like the words that Jesus said in the Bible are “more true” than what Paul or Peter wrote. But if what they said wasn’t correct, God wouldn’t have allowed it to be in scripture.

bill bailey :

he is the word, and the volume of the book is of him😳

Carpenter dad :

I just had this exact conversation with someone on tictok yesterday. they said Jesus did say this, I said He is the Word. so Jesus said it all..

newjayjan :

Jesus is by definition God, and even in the New Testament, references himself in the Old Testament, because it is written.

Desiree Brown-Garcia :

Amen

Jesus Christ Is King1776 :

Jesus said before abraham was I am. John 8:58

Josrup :

I guess it'd be visually tiring to have it all red

DeadManMatadore X :

the way i see the black text is that it adds details to the context while the red text are the lesson God is speaking to us

swillett316 :

I've been calling this the Red Letter Fallacy. many false teachers and wayward believers have started to believe only the red letters are to be followed and all others no longer apply.
