I was heading towards agoraphobia when I got out but I recognized it early and took physical action to cut that off before it could get a hold on me. I still self-isolate but the fear is mostly gone. I'm not afraid of public men anymore just a healthy set of boundaries. Not dating at all but that is a hurdle I'm not rushing. I am still waiting for him to bring a showdown. But I am building my safety net with God at the lead.

This is so me! I went to Meier yesterday because I needed to renew my tab. And, I couldn’t wait to get the heck outta there. Too many people. Too much noise and I needed to get away so fast.

Thank you. I was in a narcissistic relationship for 10 years. I've been away from him just over a year and divorced a year this month. One thing I did last year was not want to decorate at holidays. In fact yrs prior to that as well. I didn't even think of that fact. Yes you are right, home feels safe.
