@jesusiskingofkings73: 📜 READ CAPTIONS The serpent in the garden was not punished the way most people think. Everyone remembers the curse. Crawling on its belly. Eating dust. But most people stop there. They do not read the rest of the story. Because the serpent shows up again. And this time, he is not crawling. → Job 1:7 "The Lord said to Satan, Where have you come from? Satan answered, From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it." Roaming. Going back and forth. Not crawling in the dust. Not bound to the ground. Not defeated yet. That hit different. Because the curse in Genesis 3 was not the end of the serpent. It was the beginning of a war. A war that is still going on right now. → 1 Peter 5:8 "Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." Prowls. Not crawls. Not hides. Not waits. Prowls. Looking for someone. Not everyone. Someone. That means he is not attacking blindly. He is hunting. He is choosing. He is waiting for the moment you are weakest. But here is the part nobody preaches. The curse did not remove his power. It only announced his defeat. → Colossians 2:15 "And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross." Disarmed. Not because he stopped attacking. Because the weapon that mattered was taken from him. He is still fighting. He is still lying. He is still stealing. He is still killing. But he is fighting a war he has already lost. → Romans 16:20 "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet." Soon. Not maybe. Not someday. Soon. Because the serpent did not win in the garden. He just started the clock. Type "He is already defeated" if you finally get it. #jesus #god #bibleverse #christianity #biblestudy
