It’s probably because neurosurgeons get paid a lot so they get taxed at the highest bracket even though they’re at the bottom of the high economic class so they advocate for groups that want to lower their taxes to maximize their earnings. The problem with that is that republican policies tend to come at the cost of poor people’s health and education.
