Last year May, i planted 2 acres of hass avocado and i bought the seedlings at JKUATES. In a spacing of 4m by 4m.One acre was occupying 160 seedings.In total i have 370 trees.Next year May i will be expecting my first harvest and in Kirinyaga County..a kilo of avocados roughly 5 or 4 avocados goes for 100b.Also advice people to go to beeking.A very lucrative venture

No brother,a well managed ovacado give minimum of 1500 fruits in two seasons that translating to over 12000 to 15000 meaning in one acre you get over 1000000 on very lower rate in one year.

Avocado is priced per kg, which range from 75-155. Each kg has between 4-6 avocadoes depending on the grade. Also, the number depends on spacing and yield depends on agronomic practices. Let's not just throw googled figures to sound wise. Avocado farming is one of the highest rewarding tree based businesses in Kenya right now. I would take you seriously when you compared avocado to coffee or cocoa
