I feel like a lot of native creators normalize stereotypes about growing up on the reservation without encouraging growth beyond them. There’s nothing wrong with rez slang, casual lifestyles, or embracing where you come from, but there’s a time and place for everything. We should also be promoting education, professionalism, healthier lifestyles, and personal growth. As we pursue greater opportunities, we have to learn to adapt to different environments without losing our identity.
