I’m right on the Alabama state line and after being in Pensacola during sally, I have TRAUMA. I’m scared asf, and my parents are just “oh it’ll just be a lil storm and some wind”. THATS WHAT YALL SAID ABOUT SALLY AND HALF THE ROOF CAME OFF…. (Also off topic, what is the colors of your walls called? That’s the most perfect shade of green I’ve ever seen.)

For the people worried because of Sally please understand Sally was an incredibly slow moving storm and basically stopped moving and sat on top of us after making landfall. That is what made it so destructive

Glad you’re prepared I’ve lived in Pensacola my whole life and in 2020 Sally wasn’t supposed to be bad so I didn’t really prepare for it but it tore Pensacola up and most power was off for a whole week and there was so much flooding! So I’ll be overly prepared just in case.

I was there for Micheal and unfortunately I lost everything had to move and start somewhere else so yes I will be leaving even if it’s just 2 or 3 because the way they told us Micheal wasn’t gone even come towards us then it hit us as a 5 just be prepared if yall do stay anything can happen at the last minute not trying scare anybody keep you some candles and flash lights on hand and get a solar battery charger also fill as many jugs for water as you can freeze them and that way you will have a way to keep anything cold if the power does go out

If it stays at a cat 2, then u will be ok. Stock up on battery’s, water, make sure to charge everything up. The worst u will get is the winds and rain. Possible floods. I’ve lived in Fl my whole life and dealt with many diff hurricanes. Def be safe, I’ll be praying for yall
