@ksatnews: Dr. Helen Rodríguez Trías, a Puerto Rican pediatrician spent her career expanding health care access for women and children in minority communities. In 1980, that work made her the first Latina president of the American Public Health Association. Her story is one of many our local students at Mark Twain Dual Language Academy are sharing this month.
