My last Christmas Eve shift I was left alone to close (no manager, just a 20 year old supervisor) and I did the closing announcement on the store radio and said “our team would like to get home to have Christmas with their family, not yours so please leave the store immediately” it was worth it, quit 3 months later

My brother was like this as a Christmas temp. He wondered why they never rehired him. Aparently, in front of a manager, a customer asked him “excuse me, where are the eggs?” And he turned around to her and goes “well, if you opened your eyes and looked, they are right there.” 😬😬
