Every day this October, I’m sharing my mother’s story for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Day 8’s tribute is up, and Day 9 is coming tonight. 💜 I’m also doing my 31 Days of Halloween challenge again—different outfits for every workday with my preschool kids! Today’s Hocus Pocus shirt and matching shoes might be a little bit of a cop-out, but the thought counts, right? 😂🧙‍♀️ Honestly, I haven’t felt good for months. Tooth pain, sinus problems, ear pain, and constantly feeling sick and worn down. I knew something was wrong with a tooth that had a root canal eight years ago, but I waited for my dental insurance to start. After X-rays, my dentist explained that the infection was affecting my sinuses, with fluid in my ear too. I’m now on antibiotics, and the extraction is scheduled for Monday, October 19. All the dental work I need will cost around $2,500 out of pocket—even after insurance. 😩 But I’m so thankful I went to my dad’s dentist, Dr. Goli Asadi at Terravita Smiles. She took her time, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. Her team was fabulous, too—and they said they’d listen to Papi Killed Mommy! 🥹💜 If you’re around Cave Creek, Carefree, or North Scottsdale and need a dentist, I highly recommend her based on my experience.
