Interesting perspective, Doctor. 🌸 I agree that the way someone responds to a “no” can reveal a great deal about their character. Respecting boundaries is essential. I would add that the real insight lies in observing what happens afterward: can the person accept the boundary without pressure, resentment, or manipulation? Can they adjust their behavior while respecting both people's needs? I've had to say NO many times! 😂 Quite a few men get upset or keep pushing. In superficial online chats, my “NO” comes out pretty quickly! Hahaha. A genuine “no” doesn't need to be a test. It's an opportunity to see whether respect is part of someone's natural way of relating. Sometimes, what reveals the most isn't what people say, but how they respond when they don't get what they want. 😉🌸

If you say no to someone, that full sentence will reveal their true colors. Either they’ll respect your boundaries or they won’t. And if your response isn’t what they wanted to hear, they’ll label you as difficult or get angry. I just love how you ruffle feathers simply by being honest and standing firm in what you believe in. 👏😎
