When you look at inflation-adjusted pump prices across administrations, Biden's presidency produced the highest recorded figure in this comparison at $5.02 per gallon in June 2022. Obama's term peaked at $3.97 in May 2011. Trump's first term brought that number down to $2.96 in May 2018. You don't get to kill the product and then pose as its defender at election time.
