My daughter is doing school and is the youngest supervisor working at shoppers drug Mart. I’m so proud of her for being able to do this and she did this on her own. I told her I just want her grades good she wanted a job to buy her first car. My baby is doing 100 times better than I was at her age. Happy father here 😁

If your under the age of 18 you cannot get a phone plan, it has to be under your parents name until she can get her own phone plan at 18. Yes, she can send the money to her parents, but as a parent it is your responsibility to care for your child financially, emotionally, physically until they are 18. Graduating early and going to college still underage does not override parent responsibility

she's still going to school and in my country parents are obligated to financially take care of the child if they are still going to school even after the age of 18. if they go to college and study till they are 25 years old parents are still obligated by law to pay for everything. that means paying the phone bill, paying for clothes, car etc. so she's not wrong for being mad at her parents.

GenX here. At 17 I graduated HS, went to college while still living with my mother, worked in between classes, and my brother and I paid all of the bills. I have no sympathy for her at all.

my son is 13 and goes cut grass in our neighborhood right after school so he can afford what he loves the most. (books,retro games) 13!? girl bye..... and i plan to raise my girls just like their brother 👌

My son is going to be 15 next year, I told him he can get a summer job, he said “ you’re obligated to take care of me till I’m 18.” I said “ I’m obligated to put a roof over your head, buy you clothes, essentials and feed you, not pay your phone, give you money for robux, buy you laptops, desktops, you are getting a car soon, I’m not obligated to pay for your gas” he stayed quiet didn’t know what to say
