I’m just north of Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico. We had some winds last Saturday morning and we lost power and internet for several hours. Then we lost water. We didn’t have running water for several days. Fortunately, the running water is not the water we drink. It’s just what we use for showers, washing dishes and everything else. We have gas that we cook with. This storm has me really concerned!! This whole super El Niño situation has me FEELING REALLY CONCERNED!! I had to charge my phone in my car. We live directly across the street from the ocean…at the bottom of a big hill. We travel back and forth down Highway 1 that runs along the edge of the coast from the border of California/Mexico from San Diego and Tijuana through Rosarito, Ensenada all the way to Cabo San Lucas. It’s the highway my daughter drives t work and back. We’re concerned about the highway’s stability. I moved here in May and last weekend was the first real rain we’d had….until this coming storm. Thanks for keeping us informed.

3 years ago I was on a backpacking trip when the flooding hit 😅 this weekend I have a scuba trip in SD but I’ll likely cancel that.
