I want to come work in France. I'd rather have direct, blunt, criticism, than beat around the bush as to what I need to do to progress in a workplace. And honestly, as an Alaskan, more coffee is always appreciated.

the only thing I couldnt be coolbeans with is the interruption. my AuDHD does NOT work with many transitions. if Im working, Im working until Im finished the tasks on my list. I sliw down to take brief breaks, but there are no interruptions to take my mind off the next task. if I were forced to take social coffee or lunch breaks away from my task area, Id lose focus, get anxiety build up that hurts in my body and makes my brain painfully itchy, then burnout FAST. possibly with a verbal meltdown with very noticible putward panic symptoms- irritability, curt speaking, raised voice, hyperventalating.

as a belgian, you get a compliment when ur work is good , you get a critique when its necessary. as someone who was raised by a military father, sugarcoating a critique is a waste of time , it makes the critique less effeciënt / impactfull and quite litterally takes away someones ability to be better

as someone who struggled badly with social cues when I was younger (they're still a struggle but not as much) I was so happy that I moved to an area with very blunt people. It wasn't France but it was filled with people who were blunt and it made life so much easier! A lot of people also told me why what I was doing was weird which was extremely helpful

sounds great except the breaking up my workflow. If I am in a groove and you make stop, now it takes me longer to get back into it later. but I would hope the directness means I could get away with essentially saying, leave me alone I want to finish this. I'll take a long break later.
