@swarupaupadhyay: Dashain is supposed to be about the victory of good over evil. But this year, my battle was betweenmy heart and my mind. I chose my heart for too long. Trusted people. Gave chances. Ignored red flags. Until life taught me— “Samaya le sab lai dekhaudinchha”isn’t always enough. Sometimes, you have to see the truth yourself. Samaya le dekhos na dekhos, ma chai sab lai dekhauchhu. Not for revenge. But because I finally learned: Being a good person doesn’t mean being a fool. Maybe this Dashain, the real victory is choosing the wiser version of myself. 🪔
