In top of that it seems like a lot of the plot lines got transferred to the Lanterns show anyways. The story taking place in multiple points in time, the manhunters being the main villains, and Sinestro being a big part of the show. Even Guy Gardner is in Lanterns and from the looks of it a man ch more faithful adaptation than what this concept is presenting

Yes, the Arrowverse that was famously NOT "woke" and had huge budgets for CGI and always included perfectly comic book accurate portrayals. Nix the Manhunters and most of the humans and this show is still very possible. Adapt the Black OC into Katma Tui, hire some airline pilots to play Tomar and Kilowog, make Tomar and Kilowog women, grab a random stack of comics to rip-off and roll cameras!

I remember when this was first announced and everyone was furious it was about Alan Scott and Guy Gardner instead of Hal, John, or Kyle. Nobody would have been happy with this, plus on a TV budget trying to hit this type of scope in season 1 would have never worked. Even if it was good there’s no way it would’ve made it past season 1.
