@japdmedia26: New York, United States — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was seen eating dinner at a local Palestinian restaurant on the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks. The location, Ayat Hinds Hall, is part of a local dining group. The restaurant owners previously faced intense backlash in December 2023 over menu phrasing that critics labeled harmful. Owners Abdul Elenani and Ayat Masoud stated they were not calling for the destruction of any nation and supported peaceful solutions. The dinner occurred on the same evening the mayor faced intense verbal criticism from activists at a local vigil. As the mayor exited the venue, demonstrators surrounded his vehicle and shouted insults, including “Stop being a f—king traitor.” Security officers intervened to keep the crowd back. #NewYork #UnitedStates #ZohranMamdani #Ayat #japd
