Try getting a bigger vinyl, a bowl that can give that similar shape and a way to heat it without the oven, that way you can heat it up,that way you should be able to mold it to the curve of the bowl Worth a shot?

try putting the vinyl on the bowl or a different one then in the oven soo it melts ISH over it rather then cooling it and bending it yourself
