I was in Katrina and Wilma so I wouldn’t trust these. However! Be safe and hope all will be ok for you!! Go to rei or a camping section if you’re nervous about losing power. I’d get MRE like meals in the camping section.

I’m not a genius but that’s not going to hold. As a hemicane vet as someone that lived through Katrina, might want to take those down and put some boards up. You can fill in the nail holes after. 😕

We're about 45 minutes from gulf shores, we're staying put. Hurricane fabric is up, we have food and water. Hopefully going to sleep through it and take it all back down on Saturday 😂

We were without power for 4 weeks after hurricane Katrina. I found that I could survive easily without electricity. No water was a serious problem, however. 😅
