Tomorrow is a beautiful opportunity to earn Allah’s reward and revive a beloved Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Allah ﷻ says: “O you who believe! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain taqwa.” (Qur’an 2:183) Fasting is not only about staying away from food and drink. It is a means of developing taqwa, patience, sincerity, self-control, gratitude, and closeness to Allah ﷻ. Let us fast with our bodies, tongues, eyes, ears, and hearts. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ regularly fasted on Mondays and Thursdays. He ﷺ said: “Deeds are presented on Mondays and Thursdays, and I love that my deeds be presented while I am fasting.” (Jamiʿ at-Tirmidhi) What a beautiful opportunity to have our deeds presented while we are in a state of fasting for Allah ﷻ. The Prophet ﷺ also said that Allah says: “Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I shall reward for it.” (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) So let us make tomorrow more than simply a day without food. Let us increase our Qur’an, salah, dhikr, istighfar, charity, kindness, and dua, while staying away from backbiting, arguments, anger, and anything that displeases Allah. Allah ﷻ says: “Indeed, I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.” (Qur’an 2:186) Make sincere dua while fasting. Ask Allah for forgiveness, guidance, strong iman, halal rizq, barakah in your life and family, ease in difficulties, and success in both dunya and Akhirah. Never underestimate a small deed done sincerely for Allah. Perhaps this one fast becomes a means of forgiveness, mercy, and a higher rank in Jannah. May Allah accept our fasting, forgive our sins, purify our hearts, strengthen our faith, bless our families, increase us in halal rizq and barakah, ease our hardships, and grant us success in this dunya and eternal happiness in the Akhirah. May He allow us to follow the Qur’an and Sunnah and gather us among the righteous in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen Ya Rabbal ‘Alameen. Fast for Allah. Revive the Sunnah. Seek His reward. #islam #muslim #muslimtiktok #muslimah #fyp
