@oneleggedpsych: Where does attraction cross the line into objectification? Some devotees describe wanting to make someone feel beautiful. Others recognize that certain behaviours can become intrusive or objectifying. But who gets to decide where that line is? From a psychological perspective, intention and impact aren’t always the same thing. So I’m curious: When boundaries are crossed, what matters more…intent or impact? I’d love to hear perspectives from both amputees and devotees. #BothSidesOfDevotion #OneLeggedPsychologist #Devotee #BoundarySetting #Psychology
As an outsider: impact decides if the line was crossed, intent only how we judge the one who crossed it. The line: when a person becomes a body part, or when "no" gets ignored. If I understand the situation correctly.

This takes a lot of thought. are you attracted to a person because of an amputation or in spite of an amputation.

I think it depends on the line itself. If it's sexual arousal that is hard to stop. Big boobs or one leg. how do you not show. Mental urge is automatic and hard to control.
