Im sorry, I went to one of these colleges, and alot of people were not canadian citizens, and received substantial osap especially when they had alot of kids. I was in a small class of all women so it was something we all discussed. Im talking 20-30K in grants every 4 months or so

This happened to me with Everest College. Shut them all down then. Because they are all scams. Education for minimum wage jobs is all that they are imo

Everyone who went to post secondary knows that TONES of kids are taking advantage of it. They talk about it all the time. Using the money to go out drinking etc

I was in a legitimate private college that didn’t receive its accreditation after failing an audit for ONE of many programs. They only failed because it was apparently not up to standards. The school was approved to stay open but my program was shut down. I did not receive grants, and was left to pay 20K. It should not at all be on the student. The government should have been regularly auditing and monitoring these colleges before students could even get OSAP approval..
