This is so true. If you live in Ontario there centres to help find your indigenous identity just putting that out there! ❤️aswell as being proud to be Scottish and native. Go to powwow if you can participate in your Scottish community in your own way at your own pace and need. It can feel hard when you don’t know where to go at times but I hope you have a good journey! Keep being you girl

Girl I understand. I’m Arab and legit only 1/4 Croatian but for some reason I look like the whitest of white girls and I spend so much time saying “yes.. I’m really Arab..” to other Arabs.

Ugh, it pisses me off hearing stories like this. Just because there’s people who are mixed indigenous doesn’t make them any less than full blooded indigenous people. I’ll never understand the mentality of it and I hope the hate dies out eventually.
