I remember having a trip to Manila. and in just day two, I already wanted to go home. I miss the mountains of my hometown in Luzon, the multiple pine trees to climb on, the random Mango trees you'll find filled with new ripen mangos, the bullfrogs that'll suddenly jumps on your face, my neighbors who'll come out with fresh sliced fruits to give to kids playing around nearby, and the fireflies that flies around at night when you ruffle a certain part of grass...

It’s been about two months since I came to Taiwan. I still clearly remember it was around 5 PM on August 28th, just as I was doing my entry paperwork, when I found out my granddad passed away. Not being able to see him one last time is something that deeply haunts me to this day. Studying abroad far from home, my heart is only with my parents, my friends. I've lost all motivation for anything here. So tired from these stress
