Loved the show as a black man seeing johns childhood and how his parents treated him made me emotional . That being said I loved all the episodes but the finale was a dud for me (I’m not mad that big CGI battle happened) and yes Tom King is CIA mole planted in the comic book history

The main problem I have (although I have many other issues too) is just how quickly and contrived Kerry killing Hal was. They were having a conversation and there was no immediate threat, Hal hadn’t even done anything at that point she just shot him in cold blood. Then again, leave it to a cop to not know how to have a conversation or de-escalate.

Yeah I did think it was so weird that they had the one black lantern be part of his own thing. Like half of the point of green lanterns is that they’re controlled by the sketchy guardians but they always rebel against their instructions and do the right thing and we saw Guy Gardner do this

I truly felt like they left everything able to change in s2, it’s great writing fighting weak commitment points and an overbearing ‘let’s see how it does first’ budget.
