@letjohncook007: I'm really mortified by this whole situation and I'm not really good with words. I wanna emphasize that I understand why that connection was made, given the history of slavery and Black people being treated as property, and I recognize how hurtful and dehumanizing my wording was. But pleaaaaaaaaase understand that was not my intention. I also want to address some of the conversations happening on Twitter about me fetishizing my girlfriend. We've been together for a long time, and I love her deeply. Some of the content I share featuring her is simply my way of expressing my love and appreciation for her. However, I understand how certain posts may have given people a different impression, and I don't want to dismiss those concerns. My girlfriend is someone I love and respect as an individual, and I never want my content to suggest otherwise. I've also become aware of copycat accounts recreating similar videos with the intention of rage-baiting the Black community. I find it disgusting that people are deliberately using offensive content to provoke an entire community for views and engagement. I recognize that my original video contributed to this situation, and I don't want to take away from my own accountability. I know that apologizing doesn't automatically undo the harm caused and I know that I'm not entitled to your forgiveness. I'm sooooo sorry. :/
