you have to put some responsibility back on the parents for not enforcing the child's education and making them go to school I don't know I got an idea let's bring back some truancy officers let's start fining the parents when their kids are not going to school

maybe start holding kids back until they are at the level of education they will be advancing to. get rid of the bs gender discussion. prioritize core subjects and have then taught in a manner that makes sense. math is done in a way that takes more time that it needs to.

I’m so glad that my child has graduated all they want to teach is gender studies and equality (I do think that’s important) but what kids need to learn about is Reading, Writing and Arithmetic

We need to get kids inspired to go to school and do well again. These kids all don’t care what happens to them or their futures anymore… inspire and support them and increase exposure to pathways of higher education

Our Schools are failing these kids. I work with teens all the time, very intelligent kids, but the amount of time I have to spend defining simple vocabulary words is incredible! It isn't because they are stupid, they aren't! It is because they have been failed by the school system!

Education in Oregon needs an entire overhaul. Shoot, education in the US needs to be entirely reimagined. Oregon is the first in the nation for so many things — why not be first to implement education policies that TRULY bring quality learning to kids.
