you guys dont understand, im from madrid and what happened is that her house was rented with a contract of "renta antigua" (which means that she lives renting an "old" home, which ofc has way more expenses than a normal house bc it needs fixes way more often, so the owners were spending more money fixing the house than what they got paid for it) and that contract ended like 20 yrs ago, yet she refused to leave, so she lived in a house for 20 yrs for 500€ when she should be paying WAY more than that since her contract ended. The owners told her multiple times over the last 20 yrs that she had to leave, yet she didnt. They even offered her to buy that same house or rent a cheaper one, but she said no and stayed there, so ofc, she got evicted after 20 yrs bc was she did was ILLEGAL. But ppl dont know the whole story and judge the government, but the fault is hers bc of what she did.
