I've been watching anime by the season for, a long ass time. I've been in these trenches. every couple years you have people go "well back in MY day xyz was so much better" and its insufferable. esp bc they're Wrong. every year, every season, has something good. the 90s had as much good stuff as the 2000s which had as much good stuff as the 2010s etc etc. they just remember their favorites, and compare the Good things that stick around to the meh to bad stuff they can see Right Now that they'll forget about. also the rise of right wing "ew wokeness" which would be used to discredit so many titans if the industry if it came out nowadays lmao.

I started watching anime in the early 90’s. Shoujo was my first love and I branched out to. I do somewhat disagree on having high standards because I enjoy a lot of. Isekai slop lol.

As an OG anime girl who watched before these giys were born. It doesn't matter when a person started. Also I never like DBZ and always felt it was a little boy show. There were so many better drawn shows. But I don't go to guy who post videos about DBZ and call them Posers and not real anime fans. Because that's stupid.
