@theefactverse: A woman who donated her late husband's body to science was shocked to discover that his remains had allegedly been used in a military explosion test. What she believed would be a respectful donation for medical research reportedly turned into a disturbing revelation: her husband's body had been treated as a test subject in an experiment designed to study the effects of an explosion. The discovery left the woman devastated and questioning how her husband's body could have been used in such a way without her knowledge or consent. The case highlights the complicated ethical questions surrounding body donations and the importance of ensuring that donated remains are handled with dignity, transparency, and strict adherence to the donor's wishes and the family's understanding of how the remains will be used. #fyp #military #donated #follwformorevideos
My mother donated her body and ended up in twisted psychopath chop shop in Phoenix.

There’s a book called Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers. It’s pretty interesting and discusses the different ways bodies donated to science can be utilized. Changed my perspective for sure

In her defense I always thought for science meant for medical students who are training to be surgeons or sum shit not for exploding😅

Tbf, I thought donating to science meant medical studies. Never did the thought of a human firework come to mind

My dad was donated to science…because of him, they developed implant lenses for the blind. He had the most beautiful, blue eyes. He was also part of the team researching helping paralyzed people walk again. Incredible, heart breaking, but after all…it’s only a flesh suit ❤️

You’d be surprised at how many times this happens. Retired military here! 70-85% of all cadavers go to medical science/research if they are donated to science. The rest go to the military for research too! Our soldiers are people, and so are the cadavers. Kind of a morbid take, but I’d want the closest thing possible to my body to be tested. Why? So I can trust my gear. They put the bodies in the gear, stress test them, and then adjust accordingly. Hope this helps!!

As a retired Marine EOD tech, I would find it to be of the highest honor to be blown up as long as it helped my brothers by providing valuable data. Also, I would hope there is an open bar at the range for my bros, cause you know they would want to be there

Please understand, when you donate your body and your organs, all respect for that body goes out the window. I have experienced organ procurement and let’s just say, my family nor I are donors.

Unfortunately. She did consent. She donated to science. Researching effects of explosives to the body and how to prevent that is part of science. Sorry it wasn’t the experimentation you wanted but that part of what you signed up for 🤷♀️

I read Stiff by Mary roach when I was in highschool and find out that they can use your body as a crash dummy. You don’t get to choose.

I realize it’s upsetting to hear but for example a reason they might need to do this is developing armor/gear.

Who on earth would even donate their loved one to such a thing as letting someone chop them up or cut on them for the sake of science!😞💔

I read an entire book about this. They said they need bodies to test for let’s say anti mines equipment (or similar) for first responders, but nobody wants to use their body for it. Also when you donate a body you can’t choose where it’s going. They don’t blow up bodies for fun.

On a serious note 90% of donated bodies have similar fates. You are LITERALLY donated for science. That could be putting your body in a container or trunk to see how long you decompose, etc. it’s how detectives know when and how someone died.

donating ur body to science can mean a lot of things please research before committing to it. I actually own a retired medical skeleton from a local college cuz they legit just sold it when the department downsized

When you donate your body to science thats exactly what happens. Blowing up a body isnt what youd expect but the effects of an explosion on a human body and observing it and then studying the after effects is science.
