My brother had a 2002 dodge ram and the heater core went out. They wanted a few grands and a week to do it. Him and I did it ourselves and my parents were so worried we wasn’t going to get it back together. The only hard part was keeping the dash from cracking apart which he had the blue trim but black worked just fine when we replaced it

I had a dodge journey that had to have the diverter door replaced 3 times. Luckily I had bought the extended warranty for $1500. I am one of the reasons they don't offer that warranty any more. They did over $8000 worth of repairs and finally paid me $3000 to terminate the contract. 😁

My 05 F150 I did the Evap bc it was the problem child but I replaced the heater core all doors and actuators bc I was done messing with it!! It’s mainly labor like you said so let’s go all new!!
