Sounds like the model doesn’t take into account whatever jobs remain people will flock into the fields, creating competition and therefore lowering the pay

Knowledge work being useless is a lie. Creativity will boom no matter how much ai does it simply doesn't use its own chasis to create ideas out of its own box. Knowledge work will evolve to creative design. They are too shortsighted

Blue-collar jobs will become saturated which means labor will be cheap and then add robots automation and all ran by AI and the blue-collar labor force minimize this to

Arguably it was necessary for a while to weigh society's rewards heavily towards capital. We are definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY now at the end of that time. The purposeful rebalance towards primarily directing value towards rewards for humans (whether or not they own/control capital) doesn't have to be 100% but it can't be zero.

What happens to the pay of the knowledge workers who run the AI? It ain’t doing it by itself and regulation will make sure there is always a registered doctor, lawyer, engineer, accountant taking responsibility for whatever the work output is.

Interesting that this model didn’t account for a surge of nurses, construction workers etc. because when everyone becomes a nurse and a construction worker …. That labor is abundant. You can them less and less every year because there’s more people trained to do that job. There is no case where this doesn’t also happen. Skilled workers will last longer than knowledge workers but not for long.

That doesn’t track, 45% of a pie double the size is net more than 60% of the current pie, it doesn’t directly correlate to 10% salary decrease.

Algorithms don’t mean crap. Sometimes, you can produce something where all the ideal conditions seem there but neglect factors. History has shown this. Yall skipping chapters?
