I was super stoked that it's set back home!!! I do rate accents, tho (looking at you Julianne Moore in Shipping News). It's actually a hard accent to imitate, so many just do straight up Irish. I call it redneck Irish lol.

There's a good one on CBC Gem called Saint Pierre, which takes place in the French colony right by Newfoundland. Starring the same guy who was in Republic of Doyle (another Newfoundland production) years back. Good stuff!
